One of the easiest ways to get involved is through attending or watching our local Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors meetings. The Planning Commission meets the 1st Tuesday of every month, while the Board of Supervisors usually meets the 4th Monday of every month
Contact Your Representatives
The Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors invite public comment on development (and other matters throughout the county) both virtually and in-person at meetings/public hearings.
We aim to make it easier for residents to have productive conversations with our representatives and have their voices heard.

Topics like environmental protections, zoning, and land use can get confusing fast. The more the public knows, the better we can protect our community.
